<tobhe> Am I the only one seeing permission issues with the new camera patches and the wireplumber user session? The required /dev nodes are made user accessible by udev but what I am observing is that wireplumber starts earlier than that and logs a permission denied for /dev/media0 and a dma-buf error
<tobhe> manually restarting wp with systemctl --user restart wireplumber fixes the issue

<programmerin-wonderland> I did make the unfortunate assumption that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth were a joint deal and getting ath12k working meant i would have bluetooth as well. This seems to be false. Does anyone have any pointers on getting bluetooth to work on the Surface Laptop 7 or any other snapdragon device? I dont know which EL I'm on but since I can address all 64GB ram I think its probably EL2. It'd be nice to know how to check
<programmerin-wonderland> jasper: wow, how long has matrix been down
<programmerin-wonderland> WOW it was almost a full 24h outage
<robclark> programmerin-wonderland: can't help with wifi/bt, but re: EL1 vs EL2: dmesg | grep "started at EL"

<clover[m]> what version of bluez are you on? there is a known bug rn
<jdb[m]> For bluetooth, you need to setup the MAC address manually when running in EL1
<jdb[m]> See https://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Thinkpad/X13s#Wi-Fi_and_Bluetooth for some context on the X13s as an example
