<maz> JensGlathe[m]: did you get the Wifi version? I went for the cheapest version that didn't include any.
<JensGlathe[m]> For myself, I would have. Four neighbor, fully specced as useful for his use case. No Wifi, though

<\[m]> lol did you convince your neighbour that you'll make it work for them so you have one more device to play with 😆
<JensGlathe[m]> Ofc I did

<erebion_muc> Perhaps someone here will know. What is the minimum wattage that the X13s will require a charger to provide in order to charge?
pbrobinson has joined #aarch64-laptops
<Jasper[m]> 5 probably?
<JensGlathe[m]> I read 5 here
<Jasper[m]> Like the "normal" profile seems to be 15V3A
<JensGlathe[m]> 35W is pretty good, used over years here
<JensGlathe[m]> now 65 because many devices

<maz> if anhone is planning surgery on a mini-x to graft a serial console, the voltage is 1.8v. 3.3 appears to work, but that's probably a bet on how tolerant the HW is...
<Jasper[m]> Congrats on the uart still
<maz> Jasper[m]: compared to getting to the same point on a Mac, dead simple.
<maz> JensGlathe[m]: was it you collecting ACPI tables from various devices?
<JensGlathe[m]> I usually point to aarch64-laptops/misc, yes
<JensGlathe[m]> * to aarch64-laptops/build/misc, yes
<JensGlathe[m]> Having one of the worse Windows experiences with Mini-X rn
<steev> what happened?
<maz> I didn't even try it. how worse than usual?
<steev> hm, apparently my t14s rebooted while i was sleeping but i don't know why
<maz> tobhe[m]: cheers. I'll have a look at extracting the info.
<maz> already got the ACPI tables right from EFI, but the AeoB thingy might require me actually installing windows...
<Jasper[m]> Possibly not, but idk if Lenovo has drivers up for download for these
<JensGlathe[m]> trying to create the recovery USB fails (as usual), but it doesn't even try to start again. Fails with no message.
<JensGlathe[m]> I will extract if I can beat the Windows into shape
<JensGlathe[m]> Windows on T14s does the job, at least something
<erebion_muc> X13s charging: Found an 18 W charger (9 V, 2 A) in a drawer and just tried it out. It charges very very slowly, but it charges. :D
<JensGlathe[m]> I have an earlier version of that, does the job
<steev> they have a 100W one now too, but that one is 70 and the one i have (and linked) was like 26

<Jasper[m]> Cheap charger I can recommend is the two port IKEA SJÖSS
<Jasper[m]> can do 45W in several voltages (including PPS) on one port
<Jasper[m]> It's like 13€
<ellyqw> Jasper[m]: does it support 15V PD mode?
<ellyqw> it really needs documenting, but in order to boot Chromebooks without a battery attached (which disables SPI WP), USB-C power adapter must support 15V PD mode
