hey guys, i tried getting some response xkeyboard-config to include layouts for chromebooks, i use the ones provided by gallium os but ofc they never survive updates. Sadly no response so far - is there anyone else bothered by this? I would try another shot at providing terminal and xkeyboard-config templates

dota2 in the ubuntu installer lmao good taste π smooth stuff though waw I'm amazed
<steev>
\[m]: innoxtract works on them
<\[m]>
seems to be for the brave a bit still, what is a brick π
<steev>
also, check the merge requests (if it hasn't been merged in) - it's possible to do bios updates with fwupdmgr
<\[m]>
in the end feels more like I just need some personal vengeance on the windows bloatware, I actually have a second nvme with a booting install -_-
<\[m]>
ah that's the good stuff yeah but the fw can take a while before it gets uploaded no?
<\[m]>
fck it's not decrypting on boot -_-
<steev>
sorry, i meant manually
<steev>
they aren't pushing updates to whatever fwupdmgr uses by default
<steev>
just that you can download the exe, use innoxtract, and then fwupdmgr to update the bios
<\[m]>
neat that's exactly what I needed to know, thanks
<HdkR>
\[m]: Just run Dota 2 on your X1E laptop, ez.

<\[m]>

<\[m]>
or rather WHY it has to work now lol
<valpackett>
heh. FEX does run Crysis (OG very badly though, much worse than Windows; Remastered runs way better, but it's heavier so not as fast as OG-on-Windows)
<valpackett>
all the game talk reminds me that I should report the fun graphical bug with Teardown to Mesa
