As things are currently implemented in wlroots, if I were to receive a 90° transformed cursor buffer, and I wanted to draw it as is, the hotspot would need to be rotated. If I undo the transform and then draw it, I do not need to apply the transform to the hotspot.

On the LAN, I can forward a graphical app from a server to a client using waypipe, but over the internet, the forwarding attempt fails with the message from the waypipe client that it failed to read connection header. why would waypipe like LAN connections and dislike internet connections?

danieldg: the server has waypipe installed; otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to succeed in forwarding attempts on the LAN. But, as I said, on the LAN, I am able to do it without experiencing issues, but I am unable to do it over the internet.

danieldg: with waypipe-0.9.2 installed on both the server and the client, I don't experience issues with forwarding graphical apps over the internet. With version 0.10.4 installed on both the client and the server, I can only do it over a local connection, not over the internet.

it's very likely not caused by local vs remote, but by some other property that changes at the same time
