super-dumb OT question. Alsa used to have a IRC channel on freenode is it gone now? Looks like that the audio driver for the MT7986 is missing a couple of functions.
<hitech95>
There asre stubs for it but not implemented. it seems to be missing the bclk or the lrclk invrted bits writes in the ETDM register

hitech95: #alsa on libera

I'm writing a small spi driver, but I cannot get the reset gpio "Failed to get reset GPIO": https://pastebin.com/P3sH8P1h Any suggestion?
<hitech95>
I can successfully export the gpio from userspace.
<xdarklight>
I'm on the run, but try this: 1) use "reset" as the 2nd argument to devm_gpiod_get 2) use reset-gpios = <...> in your .dts file. the GPIO api automatically appends -gpios to the name given to devm_gpiod_get() (and yes, there's fallback - but I'll not get into these)

xdarklight, gonna try that :D thanks!
<hitech95>
lets see if I can finally write to the Proslic chips!
<hitech95>
Ok it is working! Now I have to figure out why the I2S is not outputting the bclk...
