<junari> apritzel: No, I'm not sure. It's hard to say what these pins are. But it seems like they're not connected to the pins in the microSD connector

<junari> Oh, I didn't notice that I was trying to use a regular image instead of toc0
radxanaoki has joined #linux-sunxi
<junari> yep, it was the wrong image format, now uart output isworking
<junari> sunxi-fel does not work with toc0?

<MoeIcenowy> apritzel: well the suniv dram code is directly taken by me from project
<MoeIcenowy> just translated to be usable on u-boot
<MoeIcenowy> from xboot project *
<MoeIcenowy> why did I missed xboot here ...

<apritzel> junari: no, sunxi-fel at the moment requires an eGON packed image
<apritzel> junari: technically it's independent on what the BROM expects, since sunxi-fel "unpacks" any given image and uploads the components separately
<apritzel> and I have some patches to teach sunxi-fel how to unpack a TOC0 image and use that instead of eGON, but there is some bug in there somewhere, and I gave up debugging at some point :-(

<junari> apritzel: how do you think I can get a register dump?

apritzel has joined #linux-sunxi
<apritzel> junari: register dump of what, exactly?
<junari> DRAM PHY and CTL
<apritzel> of the P85T tablet? I think the DRAM parameters should be in the boot0 binary, try to decode that with sunxi-fw
<apritzel> you said yours is LPDDR3?
<junari> Yes
<junari> I extracted dram_para from DT, know i want to look to register dump
<junari> now*

<junari> I'll probably try to build later some kind of a vendor bootloader but with u-boot console

<apritzel> junari: ah, I missed that we don't support LPDDR3 yet ...
<apritzel> junari: what is the DRAM clock frequency used by the BSP?
<junari> 792 MHz
<apritzel> uuh, so it's probably LPDDR3E then, at 2133 MT/s, as I see 672MHz and 792 MHz in the parameters list, and given the usual underclocking ...
<junari> The DRAM chip is labeled as skhynix h9cknnncptmr
ftg has joined #linux-sunxi
<jakllsch> Gesundheit
<apritzel> so it's LPDDR3-1866, still underclocked, of course

<apritzel> hey, does anyone else also get the occasional double (e.g. 8GB) DRAM size detection on A527/T527 boards?
