23:18 <gnarface> mirko: kinda sounds like it might be just a general ALSA or pulseaudio configuration issue, but hard for me to say for sure without some further diagnostic tests

23:20 <gnarface> anyway doesn't sound necessarily specific to the hardware, i've been hearing about problems like this all across linux on multiple devices going back decades, and sometimes it's the ALSA driver's fault, sometimes it's a pulseaudio bug, usually there's some workaround via userspace configs of one or the other

23:27 <gnarface> one thing that might be useful is to try it without pulseaudio involved, just to narrow it down

23:28 <gnarface> but also some basic low-level tests with stuff like speaker-test/arecord/aplay could go a long way
