I'm seeing netifd segfaulting since an update to 20d761cf195e. '0x77cc400d in ucv_put_value" "invalid read access from 00000030". Sadly, the PC isn't saved past ucv_put. Could someone point me in a direction on how to debug?

@Habbie uvc_put_value basically only uses uc_value_t which is a 32 bit bit field. i'm hoping to learn more about how ucode is being called.

pew! so many structs in ucode... i guess i'll have to build a few packages with debug then

what do you mean by "make work"? as in "document how to set it up"? usually navigating arcane vendor CLIs is the hardest part

when looking at Huawei or Nokia I do not know what hardware or licenses are needed to make it work

There is some kit PON OLT from Huawei that is supposed to be used in the home marketed as FTTR. The R stands for room, you basically draw fibre between different floors of your house and thanks to PON you can use splitters to distribute it and the fibre is nearly invisible. I have not seen it sold anywhere. I heard they were trying to distribute it via operators and I think in some youtube-video I heard they were in talks with Vodafone in
23:46

I was hoping that would provide us a cheap OLT, but I have yet to actually see the hardware outside of marketing videos
