and the memory leak always starts right at the boot or the UniFi 6 LR v3 runs the whole day without a memory leak. The device is always without power during the night. So it's a fresh boot each morning

(this is on 24.10 with mac80211 6.12.6, not the update from last night, yet. I'm still testing that mac80211 update on other devices first, but it appears to run fine)

djfe: see if restarting hostapd fixes the problem. 'wifi up' is usually enough. Not that the cleanup takes several seconds after restart.

that is what has happened in the past. yeah, I assume it's the same/a similar leak.

since you don't observe it anymore, it might be a different leak and your's was fixed though. We will see

the memory leak was stopped by restarting wifi on 10:30-10:34

it was restarted due to a script though, not by me (due to mesh having issues at the time and the node going offline). I can see that in the log file

djfe: i didn't say I don't see anymore, it's was a fairly rare occurence for me and I've setup a workaround so maybe I'm missing said occurrences
