<NekoCWD[m]1> Hmm, i can buy Alcatel 1B. Idk is it possible to unlock bootloader, maybe it's unlocked by default
<barni2000[m]> don't waste your money, there are people with qm215 here
<NekoCWD[m]1> Haii for qm215 ppl πŸ‘‹πŸˆβ€β¬›
<M0xCAFEBABE[m]> <barni2000[m]> "The main issue with SDM439 are..." <- a WIP fg driver is available here
<M0xCAFEBABE[m]> for charger they didn't add it yet but device charges...
<M0xCAFEBABE[m]> * but device still charges, * charges (slowly)...
<barni2000[m]> inaccurate
<barni2000[m]> pmi632 is charging by default what is scarry
<jojo_autoboy[m]> gen5?
<jojo_autoboy[m]> the 8250 guys have a charger driver for the 8150b but not sure if that's applicable here
<barni2000[m]> btw, i am thinking about delaying the relase until i am arriving back from my vacation
<jojo_autoboy[m]> looks like the pmi632 is smb5 no?
<barni2000[m]> afaik
<jojo_autoboy[m]> yeah
<jojo_autoboy[m]> there's also a fg gen 4 driver in that repo but from what i can tell it doesn't apply to qg pmics ig
<jojo_autoboy[m]> sucks how still no one is taking a proper look at qg
<jojo_autoboy[m]> 7150 guys are focused on upstreaming hence why it's still ultra basic
<barni2000[m]> there is another qg driver
<jojo_autoboy[m]> yeah the 8953 one right?
<jojo_autoboy[m]> seems to be abandoned?
<barni2000[m]> yes it seems the branch is not exists anymore :(
<barni2000[m]> this also seems pretty basic
<jojo_autoboy[m]> there was an attempt of just putting the downstream driver in mainline but iirc there was some issues with adc or something
<barni2000[m]> NekoCWD: NekoCWD https://github.com/msm89x7-mainline/linux/commit/4fed18a6fe15d2d7d29c928669006647cc01ad98 i have added agassi, i have forgot to reword the commit πŸ™ˆ
<NekoCWD[m]1> Hehe πŸ˜ΈπŸ‘
<barni2000[m]> i have force pushed tbh it does not matter because that commit should be removed in the future
<barni2000[m]> let see i can make a relase and i should stop after
<barni2000[m]> * let see if i can
<NekoCWD[m]1> I want to make PR with agassi changes. You can drop agassi from this hack if you include Luca's smgr diff. Accel works fine with it on agassi
<NekoCWD[m]1> Or I can do it in the next release. I don't see any agassi users here except me
<barni2000[m]> <NekoCWD[m]1> "Or I can do it in the next..." <- you can compile the kernel for yourself πŸ˜›
<barni2000[m]> <NekoCWD[m]1> "I want to make PR with agassi..." <- i will wait until Luca will introduce his patches for FP3
<barni2000[m]> that patch is not complete
<barni2000[m]> mrtest add 6633
<NekoCWD[m]1> Maybe with next release i will post about postmarket on 4pda(russian forum) and someone with unlocked stock bl will test it
z3ntu|m has joined #msm8937-mainline
<z3ntu|m> there's some smb5 charger WIP from Casey, I've confirmed this works on PM7250B, I haven't tried it on PMI632. And then I've taken the pm7150-mainline(?) QG driver and tried it on PM7250B and it works decently well with some hacks for my device, not sure if anybody's working on any better featured or whatever qgauge driver there
<jojo_autoboy[m]> <jojo_autoboy[m]> "https://gitlab.postmarketos.org..." <- so is this another separate smb5 driver?
