<peremen[m]> z3ntu: thanks, I also found that on the drivers/rpmsg/qcom_smd.c line 1371 PTR_ERR(edge->mbox_chan) was returning -ENOENT instead of -ENODEV in my APQ8064/MSM8960 where there is still no mbox defined

<peremen[m]> meanwhile my wcnss firmware is so old that there is no qcom,smd-channels named WCNSS_CTRL, resulting qcom_wcnss_ctrl driver does not get loaded
<peremen[m]> probably I should dig into older prima driver source to address this specific case...
