<z3ntu> msumro: you have rmtfs, tqftpserv (and pd-mapper, depending if you use in-kernel pd-mapper or not) running and no errors in their output? Then modemmanager should be able to detect the modem
<z3ntu> also please be patient, you wrote a bunch of messages within 1.5 hours timespan

<msumro> krzk: z3ntu sorry for That
<msumro> z3ntu: there is no error in them
<msumro> modemmanager detects modem fine, even phone number, but says DeviceNotReady,
<z3ntu> DeviceNotReady has been on SM6350/QCM6490 in the past an issue with tqftpserv but this has been resolved since more than a year now
<msumro> z3ntu: no i don't have such thing
<msumro> z3ntu: I'm still having this DeviceNotReady thing
<msumro> Which modem manager has fixed this DeviceNotReady issue?
<msumro> I tried letest modem manager v25 but it didn't detect modem,
<msumro> But Ubuntu has v23 and it detects modem
<z3ntu> I said tqftpserv update, not modemmanager update
<z3ntu> but DeviceNotReady can also be anything else
<msumro> z3ntu: sources for tqftpserv
<z3ntu> Ask Dr. Google
<msumro> I meant fixed DeviceNotReady thing,
<msumro> If it was resolved in updated sources
<msumro> Gonna try this
<msumro> z3ntu: can i enable debugging logs somehow on tqftpserv?
<msumro> couldn't check support for device 'qcom-soc': not supported by any plugin
<msumro> Modem manager error
<msumro> .

<z3ntu> msumro Can you post the stdout of tqftpserv?
<msumro> z3ntu:
<msumro> without stopping modemmanager or anything?
<msumro> like, just run it as command and send?
zstas has joined #linux-msm
<z3ntu> stop modem, start tqftpserv, start modem again
<z3ntu> modem != modemmanager
<msumro> What's modem then?
<z3ntu> One of /sys/class/remoteproc/remoteproc*
<z3ntu> E.g. you can also stop rmtfs to stop modem if you use the standard flags there
<msumro> How do i stop, I'm on Ubuntu
<z3ntu> dunno
<z3ntu> I don't use Ubuntu
<msumro> How do you do so on pmos?
