hmmh, gnome-shell permanently paints the microphone icon yellow, normally signalling something is "recording". This is without any applications/volume controls enabled. I assume this is another yak, did someone open an issue about it already?

flokli: plasma does the same thing wireplumber reports that it has a handle open on "a" microphone device, so the indicator comes on

unfortunately i dont think theres anything we can do to fix this without rearchitecting a lot of stuff...

I'd be up to extending this, also explain the need to have at least version x of the APFS container (the other thing I ran into), but not sure where to put it right now.

I just saw these three errors, I hadnt seen them in the past but apparently they have been repeating on boot for a while.. Normally I would just ignore them since there are no symptoms -- but I've become pretty paranoid lately!
