<gadmt>
hello so when i am setting up FEX on gentoo, and installing the fex-rootfs, am i just unpacking that the installed squashfs file into the fex rootfs folder?
<chaos_princess>
you install the relevant package, and it will do the thing automatically
<chadmed>
gadmt: you just install the rootfs package and let the systemd unit do the overlay mounts
<chadmed>
if you dont use systemd congratulations you get to figure out how to make openrc do the overlay mounts
<chadmed>
(it's probably not that difficult i/we just cbf doing it)
<gadmt>
yeah i dont have systemd
<chaos_princess>
in theory - /usr/share/fex-emu-rootfs-layers/gentoo/images contains the squashfs images, mount both of them somewhere, then overlay mount them both together to /usr/share/fex-emu/RootFS/Gentoo/
