<jhovold> sre: thanks for the heads up about the ath12k breakage, that from 5 days ago so not in a linux-firmware release yet
<jhovold> how exactly does things break? can you report it to jeff/qcom so we get this sorted before the next distro package update?
<jhovold> they tend to prefer bugzilla, but mail should be more effective if this is a regression
<jhovold> tstachecki: the windows firmware is officially not supported by the linux driver

<roy[m]> <kuruczgy[m]> "Has anyone seriously looked into..." <- for me Lenovo Vantage also has the charge limiting (t14s) and conveniently enough whatever limits are set there survive into linux. I set a charge limit at 75% and now linux reports a full battery whenever it reaches 75% and stops charging then.

<sre> and yes, I can create a proper bug report. I just wondered if this was already known.
<jhovold> sre: thanks, it's the first time I hear of it
<jhovold> hmm, there are a few reports on the list already apparently
<LiangQi[m]> how could we upgrade to 25.04? thanks
<JensGlathe[m]> sudo do-release-upgrade
<LiangQi[m]> it complains about there is upgradable packages. but I have finished "apt update and apt upgrade".
<JensGlathe[m]> if there are held packages due to phasing, you either uninstall these or wait until they got updated. I did uninstall one, sometimes - this worked.
<LiangQi[m]> thanks for the tip, will try
