<Kiran> Hello,
<Kiran> I would like to know How can i can get the pvr source file for Mesa (in -- src/gallium/drivers/pvr/) ??
<Kiran> can anyone help me on this? it'll be highly appreciated.. thanks..
<MTCoster> Kiran: The open source powervr driver doesn't have any files in that location. What platform+driver are you using?
<Kiran> yes that's correct.. So i was unable to find any sources in the PVR location..
<Kiran> I'm on my RISCV Dev platform where we're using a licensed IP of IMG_GPU - GE8300

<Kiran> we're working on bringing up the Linux Window System using the LWS package provided by IMG Deliverables as part of the DDK - KM & UM.. with this we found there are certain LWS patches that need to applied for Mesa in /src/gallium/drivers/pvr which is unavailable with the open sources mesa sources..

<Kiran> hello, is anyone there?
<simon-perretta-img> Kiran: It sounds like that's in the context of the DDK/closed-source driver; this channel only deals with the open-source driver, but to get help with your issue you should be able to open a ticket on partner portal/wherever you were initially given the deliverables
<Kiran> okay, thank you Simon..

<NishanthMenon> MTCoster: mwalle -> at least on J722s (I used BeagleY-AI for test) https://github.com/nmenon/linux-2.6-playground/commits/test-gpu-j722s/ https://gist.github.com/nmenon/06b68883bdeae09e6146c82f1d150523 looks like the clocks are getting probed before we set the device state to active.
<NishanthMenon> j722s/am67a/tda4aen: MAIN_PLL6 -> single HSDIV0-> goes to GPU clk. ((GPU Clock: 720 MHz (Nom); 800 MHz (0.85v))). Looking at MAIN_PLL6.HSDIV0 in TRM, it shows same on J721s2 as well, though..

<NishanthMenon> will let you folks see how to handle this best..

<dracc> Hi all!
<dracc> I've recently come across a Milk-V Megrez, which is equipped with a PowerVR A-Series AXM-8-256. Based on what I could find in the MESA documentation, I take it that one is still not supported.
<dracc> Is there anything I can do to help change that? I'm not new to C/C++ programming but have never written a driver (of any sort) before.
