aklimov nah, awinic. This specific amp even already has a driver in mainline by Awinic themselves so it's extra fun it's not working on my hw / with my firmware config file it's loading
TJ[m] has joined #linux-msm
<TJ[m]>
z3ntu: In qcs8550, I also need some modification with mainline Awinic driver to get working.
<z3ntu>
I get sysst check failed (iirc it wants register value 0x811 and it has 0x311)
<z3ntu>
But thanks, I'll check it out!
<TJ[m]>
z3ntu: You have access to probe are the I2S signal are clocked? Previously I got sysst check failed because of problem in qcom i2s are not work
<TJ[m]>
Usually sysst check failed occur when the amp are not getting bck clock from host
<z3ntu>
TJ%5Bm%5D: unfortunately I don't really have access to the test points for I2S. I think there's some tiny test pads on the PCB but they're way too tiny for me or a colleague to solder on. So not sure what's actually happening in practise
<peremen[m]>
My uni had this and I borrowed it for testing UART on LG Fx0
<z3ntu>
peremen%5Bm%5D: good suggestion, thanks!
<lumag>
bamse: do you need an immutable branch for UBWC config changes?
<bamse>
lumag: i don't think so, do you have anything coming up where you think it makes sense?
<bamse>
lumag: i'm perfectly fine with continuing to ack the changes if needed
<lumag>
bamse: I've asked just in case.
<bamse>
sounds good
<lumag>
bamse: should i include it to the drm/msm maintainers entry?
<bamse>
does the changes need to be synchronized with drm/msm changes?
<lumag>
bamse: no. Curerrently we are the only consumers. It would also resolve a depenency for new platforms so that we don't have to wait and/or sync somehow when adding new entries there.
<lumag>
But I'm fine if it stays under your control after this cycle
