<yann64[m]> Hi, is there a possibility to have packages setting-up environment variables upon installation/mounting? Could not find any indication on haikuporter documentation.
<Begasus[m]> how do you mean?
<yann64[m]> well, I am about to finish my odin compiler recipe, and the binary expects the ODIN_ROOT environment variable to be set to /boot/system/lib/odin
<yann64[m]> so was trying to figure out if of this is something doable with the recipe (so end user does not have to do it manualy)
<yann64[m]> I need to put "export ODIN_ROOT=/boot/system/lib/odin" somewhere :)
<Begasus[m]> not checked there, but can't it work when added in BUILD as the first line?
<Begasus[m]> or in INSTALL
<yann64[m]> ho, I just looked at how arch does it for linux, need to test keeping the binary in /boot/system/lib/odin and just put a symlink /boot/system/bin works
<yann64[m]> look like that is the way they do it
<Begasus[m]> repology to the resque :)
<yann64[m]> it worked!
<yann64[m]> need to check a few odin code compilation tests and if ok will submit the recipe
