<georgem> Does CmaFree in /proc/meminfo represent the upper limit of how much VRAM is free for the GPU to use or am I miss understanding?

<lynxeye> georgem: Nope, CMA is only used for a subset of graphics buffers shared with engines that can't do scather-gather DMA like the display engine or video codec. Other GPU buffers are simply allocated from paged memory and can reside anywhere in RAM.
<georgem> ah ok. that makes sense based on what I'm seeing.
<georgem> thanks
