<valpackett> why am *i* the one to find these things, does no one else daily drive next on an x1e laptop? >_<
<valpackett> the quick hack i did locally to work around that was to add GPIOD_FLAGS_BIT_NONEXCLUSIVE to reset-gpio.. speakers still didn't initialize but at least the rest of the audio system did
<valpackett> * to add `GPIOD_FLAGS_BIT_NONEXCLUSIVE, * GPIOD_FLAGS_BIT_NONEXCLUSIVE` to
<Daanct12> valpackett: it's simply because not many can afford it :)

<warpme> interesting: re: my booting deadlock on qcs6490 when i moved 6.18-rc5->rc6: bisecting shows: https://patchew.org/linux/20251031091507.1896-1-shechenglong@xfusion.com/ as root cause. Interesting that deadlock is only on qcom. allwinner/rockchip/amlogic/broadcom are ok. hmm.....

<JanMP[m]> Hey, I have a question regarding i2c in qualcomm chips, I'm trying to mainline Sony Xperia 1 III on sm8350 and dmesg on some i2c writes "no sleep pinctrl state". I checked that there is no sleep pinctrl in the current mainline dts, but there is one in the android dts. Is it critical to add it or not to add that? For now it boots without it.

<aka_[m]> not critical but won't hurt adding it
